Singapore Twist [Ready Mid July]

The Cordyline fruticosa ‘Singapore Twist’ is a tropical shrub with broad green leaves with burgundy undersides and bright pink stems. The leaves are arranged on the stem in a fan shape which highlights the vibrant colouring of this plant. As they mature, maroon and dark-green streaks develop.

The plant is upright in habit; the leaves grow from the stem in an opposite pattern, rotating on the trunk. That gives it the look of a slow twist.

Singapore Twist can be grown both inside in bright light and outside (only for the warm summer months because it is not cold-hardy) in part shade.
